A fair to show you how to ‘go natural’
THE Consumers Association of Penang (CAP) is holding a three-day ‘Go Natural’ fair along Jalan Kebun Bunga from today.
The event from 10am to 6pm will have 13 booths featuring herbal plants, a seedling corner, organic vegetables, bread, goat’s milk, organic chicken, natural fertilisers and herbal pest repellents for sale among others.
The products mostly come from the farmers themselves.
There will also be roselle juice made by SMK Sungai Nibong students for sale. The roselle was planted by the students in the school garden.

The launching ceremony will start at 9.30am tomorrow followed by a performance by the St Nicholas Home’s Recycle Band, whose members will use instruments made from recycled items, at 10am.
CAP president S.M. Mohamed Idris said this would be the second consecutive year that the ‘Go Natural’ fair was to be held.
“The fair aims to promote a sustainable lifestyle. We will introduce home solutions for personal health.
“Among them are how to grow an ‘edible’ garden where certain vegetables can be easily grown at home,” he said. [News link]
