Pinang Peranakan Mansion

The building is the townhouse and ancestral hall of Kapitan China of Perak and the Han San triad leader, Chung Keng Kwee. It’s filled with antiques and furniture of the 19th century, and architectural features such as the colourful tiled floors and ironwork have been preserved.

It now converted into a Peranakan Museum displays a large private collection of Straits Chinese or Baba Nyonya antiques. The Chang Keng Kwee family temple is located next door.

Opening hours: Mondays to Saturdays. Closed on Sundays and public holidays.

Visiting Hours: 9am to 5pm.

Tickets: Adults – RM10; Children below 6 – Free entrance; School children (in uniform) – RM5.

Conducted tours at 11.30am daily.
